To improve efficiency, keep fares low, and ensure on-time arrivals, DATA is implementing a new ride priority system. If you have any questions or need to book a ride, call our dispatchers at 906-786-1186 ext. 1.
Ride Priorities:
- Priority 1 – Subscription/recurring rides
- Priority 2 – Rides reserved 24+ hours in advance
- Priority 3 – Rides reserved at least 1 hour in advance
- Priority 4 – On-demand rides (reserved less than 1 hour in advance)
Important Notes:
- Priorities 1, 2, and 3 will be scheduled first before accommodating Priority 4 rides.
- If a ride can be booked an hour in advance, it must be booked ahead of time.
- Pick-up times have a ±10-minute window. Please be ready.
- The bus will wait 2–3 minutes before continuing its route. If a passenger is unavailable within this window, it will be marked as a no-show.
- Cancellations must be made at least 1 hour in advance to avoid a no-show fee.
- Changing your destination after boarding may result in an additional fee.
