This non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) program provides safe, reliable rides to in-state and out-of-state medical appointments, so transportation is one less thing to worry about.

Rides to Wellness serves residents in the central Upper Peninsula, including:
Alger, Chippewa, Delta, Dickinson, Gogebic, Iron, Luce, Mackinac, Marquette, Ontonagon, and Schoolcraft counties.


Who can use Rides to Wellness?
The program is available to eligible residents who need transportation to non-emergency medical appointments and do not have reliable transportation.

Referral & Funding Support Options with MTC

Connect UP and Michigan Transportation Connection (MTC) support eligible clients by helping coordinate transportation referrals and, in some cases, identifying funding resources for non-emergency medical transportation.


These programs are designed to address unmet transportation needs across the Upper Peninsula and can be a helpful option
