Ride with DATA – Delta County’s Trusted Public Transit!

Established under Public Act 196, DATA Bus launched in September 1989 in partnership with MDOT. Exceeding its five-year growth projections in just one year, DATA has provided reliable public transportation for Delta County ever since. We’re proud to serve our community with safe, affordable, and accessible transit.   

In 1997, DATA Bus moved its maintenance and customer service operations into a 12,500 sq. ft. Inter-Modal Transportation Facility. This facility houses computer dispatch, business offices, bus maintenance, and a parking garage. It also serves as a regional intercity transportation center, selling Indian Trails bus tickets for four daily routes serving Escanaba seven days a week.

DATA operates 14 buses, 3 mini vans, and 4 Ford Transit vans, providing over 10,000 rides per month. Our dedicated team of 33 employees and 2 Indian Trails ticket agents is committed to serving Delta County with reliable and accessible transportation.
